Notes:
- The Caliola is instrumented with 44 wood (optionally brass) flute pipes plus optional bass and snare drum.
- The Caliola plays 65 note Automatic Player Piano (APP) music rolls but has only a 44 note pipe scale. The transfer block serves as a means to use octave coupling to allow the machine to play these additional notes on the music roll.
- Bells were not original equipment, only a modified caliola would have bells.
- Unlike band organs, the caliola scale is fully chromatic.
